Stamping 411 – Technique Thursday

Hi everyone, hope things are well.  The weekend is nearly here and it is hard to believe that February has nearly past us by.

I have completed a card for the Technique Thursday Challenge at Stamping 411.

This is a great technique where you punch out some images and then you use an embossing folder with the Big Shot to emboss the images on to the card stock or DSP.  You can view the full details of this technique at Stamping 411 site.

I have used that wonderful Two step Owl Punch and the Lap of Luxury DSP.  Unfortunately the image is a little dark but Concord Crush card stock has been used for the base of the card.

Pretty In Pink cardstock is the next layer with the embossed DSP.  The owls have been stamped on Very Vanilla with Pretty in Pink ink and the body and eyes coloured in Concord Crush ink.

Supplies:

Stamp set: Whimsical Words, Punch Bunch

Card: Pretty in Pink, Concord Crush, Very Vanilla
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Concord Crush, Basic Grey

Accessories:  Two-Step Owl Extra-Large Punch, Lap of Luxury DSP, Basic Grey Retired Ribbon, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

It is hard to see from the photo but I have embossed the owls 5 times on various parts of the DSP.  Then I punch the owls out and layered them with Dimensionals on 3 of the 5 embossed images.

This is a great little challenge and the end result will impress the person who receives your finished project.

Thanks for stopping by once more.

Keep creating…….. Meg x
