Four

We have a new challenge over at Crafty Creations for the next two weeks and it is a fun theme.

 

Four – yep that is the theme, your creation has to have 4 of something on it at least once.

 

Our sponsor is SLS Digital and I have used one of their images called Pretty Girl which has been coloured in with Copic Markers.

I have gone with a soft feminie look and I just love this paper by Fabscraps called White Lace C71 004.

 

I have used 4 dies from these collections – SU Ovals, Nestabilties Beaded Oval, Marianne Petra Large Oval and Embosslits Beautiful Wings die.

 

There are also 4 pearls on the flowers in the girls hair.

I just adore the image the sentiment just seemed to fit the card perfectly.

Christmas Carol Inspiration

Hello and thanks for visiting.

 

Just sharing with you my card and the details of our new challenge at Holly Jolly.

 

Our theme is Inspired by Christmas Carol.

 

 

I have used one of our sponsor’s images which is from Lacy Sunshine and is called Rory with Christmas Tree.

 

So my carol is Oh Christmas Tree.

 

Here is my card:

And I used this wonderful sentiment from Lily of the Valley Sentiment “Oh Christmas Tree” – perfect.

 

The papers used are Couture Creations Vintage Christmas and Carta Bella Christmas “Cheer Santa is Coming”.

 

The dies used were from SU Ovals Collection and Nestabilities Beaded Ovals.

 

Here is a close up of the this sweet image and I have created the white snowflakes with a White Gel pen.

It is not until you go to write down what markers you used to colour the image that you realise some times how many you have used.

Use 2 Images

Hi a new week and a new Come and Get It Challenge to share with you.

 

Our challenge theme is Use 2 Images

 

This could be 2 different images, an image and a background or an image and a sentiment.

 

We have two sponsors Bugaboo and QKR Stampede.  I have used a sweet Bugaboo image called Butterfly Bear and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

 

For my second image I have used an image from SU stamp set Gorgeous Grunge. 

 

The splatter image was stamped three times in three different shades of pink.  The inks were Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink and Pink Pirquette.

Fairly simple but very cute.  The little gems are from my stash and the sparkle is some Dazzling Diamonds.

 

The dies used were from the SU Circles Collection & Nestabilities Lacy Circles set.

Get Inky

We have a super cool challenge over at Southern Girls Challenge and we would love you to join us!

I have used our sponsors image from Oddball Art called Big Eye Girl Stormy and the colours used were inspired by the paper used.

Lots of layers, a bow and some bling simple but I like it.

 

Just looks like she is struggling with the elements and so I thought the sentiment was perfect “Dreaming of Summer Days”.

 

The cardstock used was Note Quite Navy, Crumb Cake, Hello Honey and Xpress It Blending Card Stock.

N is for Numbers

Our new challenge at ABC Challenge begins today and we would love you to join us.

 

Our theme for the next two weeks is:

 

N is for Numbers

 

We just need to see Numbers somewhere on your creation and then just share with us.

 

We have Art by Miran sponsoring our challenge and I have used one of their images called Wishing Stella.

 

The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers and the paper with my numbers is from my paper stash.

A fairly element free creations because I just loved the paper which is from Prima Marketing Lyric Collection “Prelude”.

 

The ribbon is SU Watermelon Wonder and the cardstock is Pear Pizzazz, Sahara Sand and Express It Blending Cardstock.

 

I have added some spots to the dress and bow with a White Gel Pen.

 

The lovely sentiment is from the SU stamp set Butterfly Basic and stamped in Watermelon Wonder ink and the card punched out using the Note Tag Punch.

Something Different

Hi everyone,

 

We have another week of our Now That’s Cool challenge over at Crafty Creations.

 

So the take on the theme  is to create a card/project which Moves or Opens differently.

 

I have created a Fancy Fold card which is called a Six Folded Card and the tutorial can be found here.

 

The beautiful paper used is from Frabscraps and the cardstock used is Primrose Petal, Sahara Sand, Very  Vanilla.

 

Here is a picture of the card before it is opened:

The lace is from my stash and just seemed perfect for the banner.

Winter

It is so cold here in Sydney very Wintery but without the snow our lovely city does not quite fit the theme of our new challenge at Holly Jolly which is:

Winter Wonderland
We have some fabulous sponsors and I have used one the images from our sponsor Oddball Art.

This cheeky image is surrounded by lots of snowflakes creating her winter scene. 

I have created a fairly CAS card and added some extra snowflakes from the retired SU Frosted Sequins set and added some bling.

The die used is a Memory Box die called Peaceful Snowflake Frame Set and the sentiment is from the SU stamp set Endless Wishes and has been stamped in Pool Party ink.

Flowers

We have a new challenge over at Come and Get It and you will love the theme.

 

Flowers – yep Anything Goes with Flowers

 

We have some super sponsors too and I have used a Sweet Pea Image call Fairy on a Stool

 

The image has been coloured in with Copic markers and the colours were inspired by the paper that I have used.

 

The paper is from Prima Marketing Meadow Lark Collection called Wingsong #843816.  The dies used were SU Ovals Collection and Spellbinder Fleur de Elegance.

 

The sentiment is from the SU set Butterfly Basics.  The cardstock is Perfect Plum, So Saffron and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

The paper flowers are from Kaiser Kraft and Creative Blooms.  The punches used were the SU Rounded Corner and Eyelet Border.

I applied some small white dots on the wings and for the trim on the stool and beads on the fairy with a white gel pen.

M is for Magnolia

Our new challenge at ABC Challenge is one that we are sure you will enjoy. 

 

Our new letter for the next two weeks is M and so our new theme is:

 

M for Magnolia

 

So this can be a Magnolia image, paper or even a die, as long as there is something Magnolia on your project we would love to see it.

 

I have used a Magnolia image called Waterlily Tilda and the colours for my card have been inspired by the paper which is also Magnolia Special Moments Royal Swedish Feathers paper.

 

The image has been coloured in with Copic markers and the cardstock used is SU Marina Mist, Sahara Sand and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

 

The flowers are from Kaisercraft Icebergs Paper Blooms and some are from my stash. The stamp is a Kaisercraft stamp called Blue Bay.

The lace is from my stash and I think it is lovely.  The dies used are an SU Ovals die, Marianne Petra Large Oval and Nestabilities Beaded Ovals.  The sweet little butterfly has been created using the retired Wings Embosslits die.
