Get Well Wishes

It is time for new challenge at Come and Get It and I would like to share with you my card I made for the challenge.

 

Challenge theme is Get Well Wishes.

 

We have some super sponsors and I have used an image called Audrey Nurse from The Stamping Boutique.

 

The sentiment is from the SU A Dozen Thoughts Stamp set.

I have added some liquid pearls around the image in White Opal and Platinum Pearl.

 

The paper was from my stash and the cardstock used was Bermuda Bay and Crumb Cake.

Back to School

Hello once more, hope you are well.

 

Time to share with you my creation for our new challenge at Crafty Creations which is
Back to School but with a Twist

 

Go Back to School to use a new technique that you have never tried.

 

Like you, I know I have found so many different techniques that I have either printed, saved or now Pinned to try later.  So to pick one was a challenge but in the end I decided on this Starburst Technique.

 

I found a great tutorial at Nancy Kellers blog and here is the link to Nancy’s Tutorial.

 

 

The paper used is SU Painted Blooms DSP and the cardstock is Rose Red, Wild Wasabi, Sahara Sand and Whisper White.

The sentiment is from the Kaisercraft Oh So Lovely Clear Stamp set and has been stamped in Rose Red ink and cut out.

 

The flowers are from my stash and so is the SU Rhinestones.

Snow and Sparkle

Our new challenge at Holly Jolly for the next two weeks is a fun Christmas challenge theme of Snow and Sparkle.

 

So very traditional Christmas and we have some fabulous sponsor’s too including Sami Stamps, QKR Stampede and Stitchy Bear.

 

I have used a sweet penguin image from Stitchy Bear and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

 

I have also used some new SU DSP from the Home for Christmas collection which is a new In Colour Mint Macaron and has some soft falling snow.

 

I have also used some of the new SU Snowflake Elements snow flakes which are in a Kraft/Crumb Cake colour and I am sure I could dauber some different colour on to them but not for this time.

Some SU Silver Glitter Paper and I have also added some White Opal Liquid Pearls to the snowflakes which are part of the image and also some extra.

Circles

Our new challenge at Come and Get It starts today and we have a fun theme for the next week:

 

Circles

We have some fabulous sponsors including Melonheadz and I have used one of their images from the Reindeer Combo Pack.

 

So yes  I have created a fairly CAS Christmas card with lots of circles.

I have used a new SU Textured Embossing Folder called Softly Falling and I love it.  It is also perfect for this Christmas card.

 

I coloured the reindeer in with Copic Makers, added some Dazzling Diamonds with Crystal Effects.

 

I have used dies from the SU Circles collection and Memory Box Lace Circle die.  The sentiment is a Lili of the Valley sentiment.

 

The silver embellishments are from SU Embellishments Silver Sequins collection and have been added to the card with Crystal Effects.

Pretty in Pink

 

Hello and thanks for visiting.

 

We have a new challenge at ABC Challenges and for the next two weeks our challenge theme is:

 

P is Pink

 

and our sponsors is Marianne Design.

 

I have coloured a Bildmalarna image from the Alva Collection called Feeling and layered the card on to a wonderful Marianne Design Die Cut LR0327 and I have also sponged the edges.  The cardstock used is an SU cardstock called Blushing Bride which is a very soft pink cardstock.

 

The paper used is in pink and grey and I have added some lace. Plus some Dazzling Diamonds on her wing with Crystal Effect.  Before I added the glitter I coloured her wing in with a touch of pink with Copic Markers.

The other fabulous Marianne Dies used are LR0300 which is the die on the side of the card and the other die is LR0280 which is in the corner of the card.  Both were sponged with ink Smokey Grey and Blushing Bride.

 

The wonderful embellishment is from SU Something Borrowed collection and the Silver Rhinestones are from SU.  The other pink rhinestones I found in my stash.

Sparkle and Shine

Hello and welcome.

 

We have a new fun challenge at Southern Girls Design Challenge and two fabulous sponsors Inky Impressions and Lemon Shortbread.

 

Our challenge theme is Shine On, so we would love to see lots of sparkle!

 

I have used a sweet image from Inky Impressions and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

 

The paper is from my stash and I have used lots of sparkle with SU Glitter paper and Rhinestones.

There is some Liquid Pearls Cantaloupe colour to the spots on the little girls clothes and hat.

Chalkboard

We have a fun new challenge at Crafty Creations for the next two weeks.

 

Our theme: Chalkboard

 

We have Oakpond as our sponsor and I have used an image called Fancy Fish.

 

I have created a chalkboard effect with some Basic Black cardstock, Whisper White Craft ink and then I raided my daughter’s chalk stash and added some white chalk smudges.

Christmas Feathers

Hello, hope you are having a wonderful day.

Fun in the Sun

Hi, we have a new challenge over at Come and Get It, one that will definitely warm you up!

Our theme: Fun in the Sun

We have some great sponsors too – Meljen’s, Sami Stamp and Oddball Art.

I have used a Sami Stamp image called Bird on my Fairy Toes and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

The cardstock used is SU Rose Red & Crumb Cake and Xpress It Blending cardstock. The lovely paper is by Graphic 45 Botanical Tea Collection “Sweet Chamomile #4500884”.

ABC Open Challenge

Hi wow, where did July go here we are the 1st August and I would like to share with you our new challenge at ABC Challenges.

 

Our theme for the next two weeks is O for Open, so an anything goes challenge.

 

We have two sponsors Di’s Digi’s Design and Stamp and Create.

 

There are so many fabulous Tilda images available at Stamp and Create so I have used a Magnolia stamp called Ladybug Tilda.

 

I have coloured the image in with Copic markers and used a lovely paper from my stash, which have inspired the colours.  The edges of the first layer of paper has been distressed and ripped slightly in places.

The cardstock used is SU Wisteria Wonder and Sahara Sand.  The lace ribbon is also from SU Sahara Sand.

 

I have added some sparkle to the hearts on the card with SU Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  The dots on the Tilda’s jacket have been highlighted with White Opal Liquid Pearls.

 

The dies used were from the SU Ovals Collection and Nestablilities Beaded Ovals.
